Allegory Insurance helps drivers prevent road accidents and access affordable car insurance through a mobile application.

How we helped?

We designed the user experience and interfaces of user driving analytics and helped Allegory create a smooth UX with refined content.

Market Overview

Some drivers in Canada want to track their driving, but there is a lack of apps and a good digital experience.

The Allegory team needed help to create a product design roadmap and service-interface architecture.

Drivers want to save extra on car insurance because they believe they are good drivers, yet they pay too much.

Our Approach

As the team was seeking a frictionless experience for drivers, we have done the UX/UI design of the first version of the Allegory App.
We also helped the product team to build a sustainable UX-centric product.

We have started our design journey with design thinking workshops to refine the MVP features, and user flows.

Then we started to work on the design system and user flows to maintain the hierarchic features of the user experience.

Prototyping was crucial, and we designed various prototypes to understand user behaviours and test them.

After prototyping and testing, we made several iterations to refine the final wireframe prototype and moved forward with the ones below.

Branding

The words "insurance" and "safety" have a lot of contextual meanings in the digital ecosystem. We worked on a brand reflecting a trustworthy attitude with colours, typography and logo. We also wanted to create a new generation app style with refined visuals and supportive colours.

When designing the logo, the first letter is an abstraction of a highway view going onwards.

The design system of Allegory version 01 App has been used by many users and got positive feedback that supports the design team's hypothesis.
